Enid Maples Nature Reserve

Elder Berries by Lakeland CamThis small reserve has an area of mature woodland as well as trees planted on a former paddock in 1979. Many of the trees have berries so the area is popular with birds. Elder, cherry, guelder rose, rowan, whitebeam, and yew grow here.

The pond also brings birds, including willow warblers, spotted flycatchers, garden warblers, blackcaps, and blue and great tits.
