Rutter Falls
Rutter Falls is a waterfall at the end of a minor road in the Eden Valley. At the
waterfall is an old stone mill with a back-shot waterwheel. Grain is available at the ford to
feed wildfowl.
The mill now houses a gallery with original art work, prints, gifts, and rugs. A
riverside cafe serves coffee, cakes, scones, ice cream, and milk shakes.
Three miles south of Appleby-in-Westmoreland on a minor road off the B6260
Appleby to Tebay road. Signposted.
