Rutter Fall

Rutter Force is a waterfall at the end of a minor road in a nature reserve in the Eden Valley. At the waterfall is an old stone mill with a back-shot waterwheel, dating from the 16th century. The mill now houses a self-catering accommodation.

Three miles south of Appleby-in-Westmoreland on a minor road off the B6260 Appleby to Tebay road. Signposted.
