Kinniside Stone Circle courtesy Madabout MtsKinniside is a small stone circle on the road that runs between Calder Bridge and Ennerdale Bridge. It is not an original prehistoric site but a modern creation of 11 stones around a circle with an 18 metre diameter. The tallest stone measures 1½ metres high. The stones are set in concrete.

Kinniside Stone Circle over Whinlatter LakelandcamKinniside stone circle sits by Blakely Rise hill and sometimes goes under the same name. There are views from the circle toward Scotland and Whitehaven.
