Abbot Hall Art Gallery

The Abbot Hall Art Gallery is located in a former Georgian villa in a park beside the River Kent in Kendal. It contains 18^th -19^th century watercolours (Turner and Ruskin are represented) and 20^th century British paintings and sculptures. Objets d'art include rare furniture by Gillows and English pottery and porcelain. There are also changing exhibitions.
