The Courtyard Gallery

The Courtyard Gallery, located in Appleby, is on the upper floor of a centuries old stone granary that once served as a school. The building still retains its beams and deep-set windows. A passageway leads to the gallery in a courtyard replete with plants and a small garden.

The gallery houses a collection of original paintings, etchings, pottery, glass, jewellery, turned wood, and a large selection of handmade cards.

There is a teashop at one end of the gallery where coffee, tea, and homemade organic cakes and biscuits are served.
