Stagshaw Garden

(See also Ambleside and Windermere)

Stagshaw Gardens Cumbria NT by Barbara Ballard Stagshaw Garden, owned by the National Trust, is a woodland garden covering eight acres, half of which is located on a steep hill overlooking Windermere. Ridges, valleys and waterfalls characterise the land. The garden is home to rhododendrons, azaleas, magnolias and camellias. Native bilberries find the habitat much to their liking.
