Winderwath Garden
(See also Temple Sowerby)
This 4.5 acre plantsman's garden is privately owned by Jane Pollack. It was begun by her father and mother.
The rock themed gardens are planted with alpine, New Zealand and Himalayan plants, among which is the Himalayan poppy.
There are rare alpines and unusual and specimen trees including a Wellingtonia and cut leaf beech.
A picnic area and pond add to the garden attractions.
