Cars of the Stars Motor Museum

The Cars of the Stars Motor Museum in Keswick contains a collection of cars used in films and television. Film examples include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the Batmobiles, Herbie the Love Bug, and Raiders of the Lost Ark. There is a large collection of cars from the James Bond films. TV cars include Mr. Bean's famous Mini and the Lotus from the Prisoner.

The Museum is housed in a former garage, which has retained many of its original features including a petrol pump, and carved roof.

Each vehicle is displayed within the context of its film setting. Sound effects and lighting are added to make the scene realistic.

The Museum is located in the centre of Keswick on the A591/A66.
