Portinscale Cumbria the Lake District.

Portinscale Cottages courtesy Ann Bowker Portinscale is a farming village. The area has been settled since prehistoric times, evidence of which was uncovered in the early 1900s. A collection of axeheads was found in a stonesmiths workplace.
