Seascale
(See also Grey Croft Stone Circle)
Seascale was, in Victorian times, a seaside resort. It still has a beach, and
walks lead into the nearby countryside, but the village is dominated by its three nuclear power
plants. Sellafield Nuclear Plant is the best known of the three and has a visitor centre with
displays on nuclear power.
Just north of Seascale is Greycroft Stone Circle.
