Far Arnside

Far Arnside is a small hamlet overlooking Morecambe Bay. It sits on the boundary between Lancashire and Cumbria. Up to the mid 1800s Far Arnside consisted of a few farms and cottages belonging to local fishermen. The coming of the railway to the area brought in more settlers.
Holgate caravan park is at the end of the hamlet, and overlooks the bay and Grange-over-Sands.
