(See also Ulverston and Barrow-In-Furness)

Roosebeck on road Ulverston to Barrow by Tony Richards Lakeland CamRoosebeck is a small coastal village south of Ulverston and near Barrow-in-Furness.
A Wesleyan Methodist church opened in the village in 1879 and closed in 1962. It was later demolished. In 1870 there were seven skeletons, in two rows, unearthed with a stone celt found nearby. No explanation could be found.
