Lammerside Castle

Lammerside Castle by Graeme DougalLammerside Castle was built in the 14th century. Its history is not known, but it apparently was not occupied after the beginning of the 15th century. The main parts of the now ruined two-story castle were two towers, a hall, and a keep. The upper level contained two small rooms and a large chamber with a fireplace and a number of windows. Two vaulted cellars were joined by a central passage.
