Millom Discovery Centre

Millom Discovery Centre is located at the Station Buildings in Millom.

There are displays on Millom’s iron and steel industry that include a reconstruction of a drift mine, a forge, and a miner’s cottage kitchen.

There is a collection of railway memorabilia and artefacts and a WWII display related to Millom. Fashions from past years are on display and a Victorian school room has been re-created.

The Centre offers a Millom genealogy service and also includes a rail ticket office. On sale are gifts locally sourced.
